MSC·SMC 2020 app for iPhone and iPad

Due to the current worldwide situation, your local organizing committee of the Microscopical Society of Canada has redesigned the MSC·SMC2020 Symposium into an online symposium from June 2nd to June 5th!

Taking advantage of the possibilities of a virtual event and the involvement of microscopy experts worldwide, we have reorganized the program into thematic sessions combining invited talks, pre-recorded contributions, live discussion panels, virtual sponsor booths, and more!

In addition to the programmed plenary sessions and on-demand presentations from participants, the thematic sessions will include:
- Live and/or interactive presentations from internationally recognized invited speakers;
- Compilations of 30-second presentation highlights from the participants;
- Live panel discussions facilitating interactions with the invited experts on the current trends in the various areas of microscopy;
- Virtual “poster” sessions allowing one-to-one scientific interactions between the participants.

To the core scientific program were also added hands-on workshops on new techniques and image analysis procedures. Workshops will be held on June 4th and June 5th.

In parallel, and as if they were in a conventional conference, the participants will have access to the latest commercial technologies through virtual booths prepared by our sponsors who will be available to interact with participants.
